Celebrations on the CNAS Certification of GER Recycling Analysis Center

The GER Recycling Analysis Center obtained its CNAS certificate on April 20th, 2021. CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment) is an agency approved and authorized by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China. The CNAS certificate marks that the laboratory has performed standardized tests and possessed the capacity to provide testing services for customers. The CNAS certificate is recognized by the accreditation agencies from the countries and regions signing the mutual recognition agreement, meaning that GER has opportunities to participate in the bilateral and multilateral cooperation and exchanges of the conformity assessment agencies worldwide. Therefore, it will significantly enhance GER’s competitive capacity at home and abroad and obtain more trust from government departments and all walks of life. The certificate will help GER promote the recycling of waste plastics for high quality and standardization.

Currently, GER labs are composed of elemental analysis room, organic analysis room, thermal analysis room, physical analysis room, mechanics experiment room, ray analysis room, balance room, complex laboratory, and sample room. Besides, it has more than 50 sets of advanced equipment, such as ICP, GCMS, ICS, TGA, DSC, FTIR, XRF, and thermal deformation Vicat Softening Temperature Tester, making it able to perform the tests of poisonous and harmful components, specified in standard directives such as RohS, Reach, and California Proposition 65, as well as the testing and assessment of the overall performances of plastics.
